At almost 90 degrees today, B-LO is on fire!

I made it!!! from Atlanta to New York (JFK) to Buffalo, I arrived and am ready to bring you the recap of the action that's happened this morning. First thanks to Randy Sappo for holding everything together and being supportive in the travel nightmare I endured. Last year, Randy was head referee for the Finals in Estero and worked countless hours. It's great to be here with him and catch up on the happenings in his home state of Oklahoma.

Our Bantam division is all seeded and ready to get into the playoffs which begin Sunday morning. In the division, The Colorado Misconduct (who by the way have some great parents, as I caught up on the happenings in Colorado and Dave Fromm)sauced the Wings 4 - 1. The Tour Bandits squeaked by the BIHG Blazers (great uniforms) 4 - 2, The Brampton Radicals once again showed their force over the New York Knights (where's Roy Hobb's?) 8 - 0.

In our third roundrobin games for the bantam division we saw The Tour Bandits over the Buffalo Wings 8 - 2, Colorado Misconduct goose egg the Knights, 8 - 0 and the Radicals repeating the score 8 - 0 over the BIHG Blazers.

Our Sunday morning playoffs in bantam will feature the Brampton Radicals meeting the Buffalo Wings and the Colorado Misconduct taking on the Tour Bandits.

In squirt peewee action today, we've seen the Tour Excitement edge by the Brampton Radicals 4 - 2 and in the game of the day so far to watch, the Tour Oakville Coyotes outlasted the BIHG Razors 5 - 4.

NOTES*******************************

The Tour Oakville Coyotes arrived at game time today as they were held up (literally) at the US border. Their goalie stepped on the floor right after warmup ended and had to play the game with no warmup

David Milbrand, 14, put together his own team for the tournament, the Buffalo Wings 14 and u. David, organized, gathered and put together his players to compete in the tournament. In getting to talk to David, Randy and I both were impressed with his maturity and attitude. It's great to see a player with the passion to do what he loves put a team on the floor and compete.

Referees, Randy has had three officials rotate the tourney so far and it's been very successful. Adam Annacone, Ryan Bradshaw and Dave Black have all done a fantastic job and kept the games moving and fast paced.

Mission Hockey is here with samples of their products and sticks. Great to see the kids always flex the sticks and see which pattern they like the best. Mission is a big NARCh sponsor and we welcome them every chance we get at an event.

Stay tuned more coming from the B-LO!!!!

It's the rollin' road to San Jose, NARCh!!
