14 year old organizes own team and comes to NARCh
David Milbrand put together his own Buffalo Wings team to play the worlds' greatest roller hockey and face some stiff competition

When you first meet him, your impressed with how he handles himself. David Milbrand put his own team together for the NARCh qualifier. With passion and the chance to play hockey against his age divisions best, David has perservered in a tough division.

We wanted to talk with him about choosing and playing in NARCh.

NARCh: What brought about your decision to play the Buffalo qualifier?

Milbrand: We wanted to play NARCh because we wanted to see how we would do against the other teams and competition. We are all house league players and wanted to test ourselves.

NARCh: So, tell us about your team

Milbrand: We only have six players and a goalie and we formed three days before the qualifier. Again, we are made up of players who are used to playing against each other, so we wanted to see how we would do.

NARCh: How's it gone so far?

Milbrand: We didn't have a lot of time to practice, so we lost both games, but we plan to keep on practicing and next year hope to play out of state.

NARCh: What's your greatest accomplishment in roller hockey?

Milbrand: I once scored five goals and three assists in one game. Hopefully, my next one will be my first NARCh win!

Stay tuned for more from the World's greatest roller hockey, NARCh!
